Scandinavian Timber - Power source only the finest high grade timber available, suitable for a garden shed. The timber is specially and responsibly imported from forests in Scandinavia in line with their sustainability policy. Power select slow-grown timber which means the timber is stronger and resistant to warping.

Tongue and Groove throughout– All Power bike sheds are made from 12mm thick shiplap tongue and groove timber. Even the floor and roof are 12mm tongue and groove to give extra strength and durability. Shiplap cladding has the additional feature of a small profile at the top of each board. This little channel, allows water to run off the shed quicker than normal tongue and groove. This also helps the shed dry quickly after exposure to rain, helping to protect it from any water damage. 

Heavy Duty Framing - The shed framing is 44x28mm and rounded at each corner to give a stunning finish. The panels are screwed together and so when joined it creates double strength 44x56mm thick framing.  

Galvanised ironmongery – A Power shed comes with galvanised hinges, turn buttons and door pull so the shed lasts longer and minimises oxidisation. Galvanising is a coat with a protective layer of zinc in order to protect it from rust and other damage.

Corner Bracing - Internal corner bracing has been added to every wall panel on your apex bike shed to maximise strength and rigidity.

Premium 'Super' Felt - The shed is complete with a high performing waterproof felt with special 'polyester' backing ensuring it lasts longer and doesn't ripple or tear easily. The felt is saturated with a protective coating called bitumen (asphalt), which repels water but still allows the product to breathe.

Advanced Preserver – Power's special formula wood preserver has a wax additive allowing you to go a WHOLE YEAR without the need to re-treat your apex shed. However, it is water based and has just the right amount of wax so that if you want to paint the shed a different colour, you can. At Power they dip treat shed panels into a tank of preservative fully submerging the panel into the treatment. All surfaces are thoroughly immersed before being removed and dried.

2. Premium Roof and Felt- Strong tongue and groove roof includes trusses on larger sizes and high performance polyester backed felt.

3. Heavy Duty Framing- 44x28mm framing which doubles up to create extra strong 44x56mm heavy duty framing. Corner bracing provides additional strength.

4. Galvanised Ironmongery- The well braced door includes a lock and key as standard and the ironmongery is galvanised.

How easy it is to assemble?

Full and comprehensive instructions are included. Power also supply all the screws and nails necessary to put together your garden building. If you have any issues installing please do not hesitate to get in touch with Power so that they can help you over the phone.

Is there anything else I need?

Yes, you will need a firm and level base for the shed to go on. The shed comes with a T&G floor with floor joists on the underside to lift the building off the ground, but you will still need something firm and level for it to go on. This can be concrete, paving slabs, timber bearers or any other suitable firm and level base. If you have any questions on bases then please get in touch. Some silicone around the windows on the outside would also be beneficial.

All bike sheds must be assembled on a firm and level base to give the shed a solid foundation and maximise the longevity of the building. Without a firm and level base, you may find that the bike shed can drop out of square causing issues with the doors not closing properly or the roof twisting, potentially leading to water ingress. This is not included with a Power Bike Shed, but can be purchased as an optional extra.

This item will be delivered directly from our supplier. Please ensure you provide a mobile phone number with your order as the carrier will contact you to arrange a suitable delivery time. Please note, non-faulty returns will not incur a collection fee from the supplier however any products that have been modified (i.e. painted or cut to bespoke requirements etc) will not be accepted, and a full refund will be void. A full refund will only be provided if the goods are returned in perfect re-saleable condition and the shed has not been taken off the pallet. If the shed has been removed from the pallet then collections charges may apply. All damages and discrepancies must be reported to us within 7 days of delivery.
