What to Binge-Watch this December on Netflix

Admit it: you don’t want to go outside this month. We don’t really blame you: it’s gotten incredibly chilly, and if you don’t go outside with a hat and scarf combo you’re almost guaranteed to get some sort of winter illness. So, we’ve compiled a list of shows for you to binge watch on Netflix this December instead. That way you can just lounge around in bed all day.

The Crown Season 2 (Available 8th December)

At last! The Crown Season 2 is back and ready for you to binge watch again. This acclaimed period drama is back and picks up the action from 1952. And yes, your favourites Claire Foy and Matt Smith are back as well.

El Chapo (Available 15th December)

Season two of this crime-centric thriller is coming back for all of those needing their fix this December. It’s based on the life of Joaquín “El Chapo” Guzmán, a notorious Mexican drug lord.

Fuller House (Available 22nd December)

Perfect, just in time for when you’ve just broke up for work and you’re looking for something new to binge watch. Because maybe the parents and relatives are just a bit too much to deal with this year.

Dope (Available 22nd December)

If comedy is not really your thing, this might be up your alley: this is a four-part documentary concentrating on the war on drugs from the perspective of the dealers.

Manhunt: Unabomber (Available 12th December)

An eight-part mini-series based on the FBI’s real-life hunt for the American terrorist known as the Unabomber. The classy cast includes Sam Worthington, Paul Bettany, Keisha Castle-Hughes, Jane Lynch and Chris “Mr. Big” Noth. If Homeland is your jam, this is for you.

Bright (Available 22nd December)

Directed by Suicide Squad’s David Ayer, this new crime film stars Will Smith as an LAPD cop living in a world where aliens and humans live side by side. The cast also includes Noomi Rapace, Margaret Cho and Joel Edgerton.

Mad Max: Fury Road (Available 24th December)

If you just couldn’t pull yourself to go the cinema to watch this because you weren’t too sure about how you felt about it then no worries! For Netflix has solved your problems! Maybe you can take a break from watching those Christmas movies on repeat now as well…
