Today at BrandAlley, we can’t wait to tell you about exciting and inspirational, British designer clothing brand, Brave Soul. With their roots planted firmly and proudly in Manchester, for us, they also tap into that cutting-edge, East London street style we totally love.
This fresh, young and on-trend fashion label hits the retro-cool spot perfectly with a look that we can’t help but feel would work seamlessly around London’s Brick Lane. To show you what we mean, we’ve picked our fave pieces from our curated Brave Soul men’s sale, which starts today here on BrandAlley. And we’ve teamed them with three of our top East London hideouts.
The Look
A printed crew neck jumper will be your winter stable, but in this lightweight material, why wait until then? The style is unfussy with a simple print, which means it can be paired with any of your wardrobe basics.
A trendy, bright shirt adds a splash of colour to an outfit and is a great versatile buy to wear from the office to the bar. Plus, the star print is offbeat enough to ensure you stand out from the crowd.
Graphic tees are still in for the autumn season, but it’s definitely a case of go big or go home with this one!
Where to Wear
East London is all about quirk, and where better to find this than in Ridley Road Market Bar, Dalston. When you see the shop sign ‘Furniture & PC Sales’ you’ve come to the right place, surprisingly! This bar will take you back in time in a gloriously vintage manner, with a lino, chequered dance floor, shiny mirrorballs and cheap 70s’ seating. If you’ve got East London trend, this is the place to see, and be seen!
Jaguarshoes collective is another Shoreditch hotspot where your retro-chic look will give as good as it gets. From the outside, you’d expect shoe shop, ‘Jaguar shoes. But, in true Shoreditch style, they have left the shop front untouched whilst they’ve turned the inside into a trendy, atmospheric bar. Once you’re in, you almost feel like you’re in a props house, with weird and wonderful sights on every wall. Get here early and let the charisma of the place take you under its wing.
If you really want to absorb East London culture, then you can’t miss a meander down Broadway Market. Any café or shop that you find yourself settling in will be perfect to while away some hours with a worn, leather-bound book and a Columbian coffee as you people-gaze at some of the hippest trend-setters around!
Have you found any gems in East London, or further afield that we ought to try out?
