In Fine Style: The Art of Tudor and Stuart Fashion
If you love historical fashion, don’t miss In Fine Style at The Queen’s Gallery, Buckingham Palace. Through portraits, drawings, garments, jewellery, accessories and armour in the Royal Collection, this exhibition explores the sumptuous costumes worn by British monarchs and their courts in the 16th and 17th centuries. It also demonstrates how styles spread internationally and shows how clothing could convey messages during a period when fashion was central to court life and was an important way to display social status.

Treat them to strawberry and cream-filled pavlova
Wimbledon just wouldn’t be the same without strawberries. According to the Wimbledon website, 28,000 kg of them are consumed over the tournament fortnight with over 7,000 litres of fresh cream! To get in on the action, why not treat your family to a Wimbledon-inspired dessert by making them Mary Berry’s divine strawberry and cream-filled pavlova? You’ll find this perfect midsummer recipe on My Kitchen Table.
