Hearst Events Manager, Elizabeth Hardy is in full-on planning mode for Cosmopolitan’s week-long #Fashfest event that kicks off on September 14th. Now in its second year, #Fashfest has evolved to be even bigger and as we’re one of their key partners, it’s become more of an unmissable slot in our September style diary. Here, Lizzie gives us the inside scoop, including how you can get tickets of your own.

Q1. Cosmopolitan’s #Fashfest is in its second year now, which is fantastic. What are your event highlights?
There are so many too choose from, however I think my personal highlights from last year included rubbing shoulders with some of our celebrity attendees across the week. It was so exciting having the likes of Millie Mackintosh and Rochelle Humes attend. We’re expecting an even bigger celebrity turnout this year! For 2015, we’re really taking our Cosmopolitan to Catwalk show to the next level. Styled by our very own Cosmopolitan Fashion Team, we’ll be showcasing how to wear the trends in a live, fun and accessible environment.
Q2. What aspects of your role do you enjoy the most with an event like #Fashfest? Are any areas particularly tricky?
I love seeing our brands come to life for our Cosmo girl to be a part of and to experience. Collaborating with a variety of exciting brand partners is something I also enjoy (such as BrandAlley!). Delivering events is never an easy task. There are a lot of late nights and manual labour involved, especially with such a big execution as Cosmopolitan #Fashfest – but when you see it all come together, it’s totally worth it!
Q3. What will make the #Fashfest event really stand out this year?
This year, we’re introducing #Fashfest LIVE, giving style-loving shoppers everywhere the chance to be a part of Cosmopolitan’s biggest fashion show from the comfort of their own home! All you need to do is stay glued to www.cosmofashfest.co.uk from 9pm until late, on Thursday 17th September and you can shop all of the looks as and when they come down our Cosmopolitan Catwalk!
Q4. How do you get hold of tickets for Cosmopolitan Fashfest 2015?
Just head over to www.cosmofashfest.co.uk for everything you need to know. We have tickets available for each event across the week, so you can choose from:
- The Lingerie Show – Monday 14th
- Meet the Celebrity Stylist (Masterclass) – Tuesday 15th
- Accessories Showcase – Wednesday 16th
- Catwalk to Cosmopolitan Fashion Show – Thursday 17th (BrandAlley on the catwalk)
- Digital Shopping Event & Wrap Party (with Jessie J attending) – Friday 18th (including BrandAlley offers)
Ultimately, we’re offering 5 days of 5 fabulous fashion events.

I am definitely looking forward to seeing it all come together. I am going to be ready at my laptop at 9am to get that first BrandAlley bargain!
