April is only a stone’s throw away, so you may be thinking about how you’re going to tackle this year’s Spring Clean.

We understand for some, the task might seem daunting – so if you’re stuck on where to start, here’re some tips and tricks to freshening up your home.

Start With the Clutter

It’s time to organise! You may want to rearrange your space completely, or simply have a shuffle of some your smaller bits – but make sure you go through any junk drawers, take any clothes you no longer need to the charity shop, and if you work from home, tidy up your desk space!

Organisers for the fridge, bathroom and kitchen drawers can really help with neatening things up, too.

Suck It Up

Although you may vacuum regularly, you’re bound to miss some hard-to-reach spots. So pull out your bed, sofas and chairs – you’ll be amazed (or horrified) at what lurks underneath! If your vacuum nozzle can be detached, use it to suck up any cobwebs or dust in the corners of your space.

Spray Away

Need a new all-purpose cleaner? Why not make your own?! We make ours with one part white vinegar, one part water and a squeeze of lemon juice – it’s great for cleaning spills, wall smudges and hard-water stains.

A Streak-Free Shine

For mirrors, windows and glass cabinets, we’d recommend using – hear us out – newspaper. Simply spray your favourite cleaner, rub in circular motions with dry newspaper and make sure all the liquid is absorbed. This will create a sparkling, streak-free shine.

Fresh Sheet Feeling

And finally, refresh your bedding with something soft, light and white. Fresh linens make all the difference!
