The dates are saved, the invite’s on the fridge, and every other weekend features a fun-filled pre-nuptial get-together.
Let the wedding season commence.
According to our insiders, wedding outfits are going to look a little different this year. Undoubtedly, you’ll still see spring’s signature colour palette of lilac, lemon & mint green, but we’re also expected to see more jewel tones – we’re talking cobalt, fuchsia and emerald – splashed across this season’s wedding photos, alongside fit-and-flare silhouettes, statement sleeves and perfectly tailored power suits.
For your feet, there’s a whole-host of trends emerging – and re-emerging – this year. Ballet flats are making a comeback (only this time in fishnet, would you believe?), and satin platforms still hold a special in our hearts, however, when it comes to what shoes to wear to weddings, we like to keep things a little more classic. Find the perfect pair of court heels, and providing they’re reasonably comfortable, versatile and have just the right amount of height, you’ll wear them on repeat through this season and the next.

Ted Baker Hyana Satin Heeled Court Shoes
Ted Baker leads the way into wedding season with their signature floral dresses and elegant court heels. Their Hyana style oozes femininity in soft blush satin with a fabulously tall stiletto.
LK Bennett Henley Kitten Heel Court Shoes
While we wouldn’t usually reach for animal print when choosing a wedding guest outfit, we’ll make an exception for these snake-print sling-backs. Beautifully contrasted with an elegant kitten silhouette, we’d recommend pairing them with floaty fabrics and statement gold accessories.
Sosandar Valeria Tie-Leg Leather Heels
As great for girly brunches as they are for formal dress codes, these leather Sosandar courts gracefully intertwine at the ankle with a fine, metal-tipped bow.
LK Bennett Audrey Low Heel Court Shoes
Looking for an investment pair? Add the Audreys to your basket. Their cream suede upper will match just about anything in your wardrobe, while the comfy kitten heel means you can bring out your favourite mum moves with minimal risk.
Ted Baker Telini Floral Court Heels
Not to have favourites, but how gorgeous are the Telini courts? And we know what you’re thinking – how on earth am I going to style these?! The answer: co-ordinate your colour of dress with any of the flowers. We’d go for the daffodil yellow, personally.
LK Bennett Florence Suede Court Heels with Strap
Last but not least, we’re back to LK Bennett and their shapely Florence courts. The Mary Jane strap coincides with another of 2024’s favourite fashion trends, while adding support while you strut your stuff. Teal’s one of our favourite shades to wear in spring, too.
