It’s not gone unnoticed; National Chocolate Week is nearly over and with tonnes of delicious recipes and yummy ideas hitting our inboxes every day, the blogosphere is well and truly on the chocolate bandwagon.
We’ve picked a few of our favourite recipes and are adamant to try them out. After all, if you can’t indulge in some chocolatey goodness this week, when can you? OK, we say the same about our birthday, Christmas, a bad day….
Domestic Sluttery always has tasty little treats on their blog to inspire you to get cooking. For National Chocolate Week they’ve rounded up the 10 best chocolate recipes. We like the sound of the Mojito and margarita chocolate truffles and Creme Egg surprise cupcakes (apparently one of the most popular!). In the name of research, we have to try these.
Over on Dolly Bakes blogspot, there’s a lovely little review of Bake Me I’m Yours, a cookery book that will have you salivating at every page. Author Tracey Mann, renowned cake maker and chocolate tousling goddess has lots of fabulous recipes and we love that Dolly Bakes is already thinking of sharing the bakery bible in stockings. It’s time to start thinking about spreading the cost and filling up on those Christmas gifts. Head here to find out more.
If you don’t have a penchant for chocolate but want to get involved in National Chocolate Week, fear not. We’ve found these scrumptious apple ricotta cheesecake brownies that were whipped up with left over ingredients, and they’re a doddle to make! Head here for the recipe. Just reading the description made us drool with food envy. Chewy on top, soft and gooey in the middle and the perfect blend of sweet and tart, they sound delightful. Anyone fancy making us a batch here at BrandAlley HQ!?
And it’s not just food everyone’s talking about. Beauty and the North East blog has found some great beauty buys that smell divine or look good enough to eat…they’re chocolate scented, infused or inspired. So don’t worry about the calories this week, you can still be part of National Chocolate Week without putting on a single pound.
There are still 2 days left of National Chocolate Week, so take some inspiration for the blogosphere and try out some of these recipes or ideas. This is one week that we’re pretty sure everyone wants to be involved in. We’ve been hitting the vending machine all week…all in the name of National Chocolate Week!
