Care
The plant grows best in a sunny position in a nutrient-rich, well-drained soil. The Musa Basjoo requires a lot of water during the summer months from April to September. The more water the plant receives the faster it grows. This can be as much as 180cm per year under the right conditions! In winter the top of the plant dies off without protection, in spring it comes back and starts its growth spurt again. If the plants are in a pot they can also be brought inside in winter and grow all winter long. Pruning Musa Basjoo is not necessary but may always be done.
Size
The plants have a height of 25-40cm upon delivery, measured including the nursery pot. The plants are supplied in a nursery pot with a diameter of 9cm.

Delivery Times:
Our delivery dates vary depending on whether our suppliers need to deliver stock to our warehouse after you have purchased. You will find the delivery date for each sale displayed on the sale and product page, and at the checkout stage.
Items available to us right away will be dispatched within 1-2 days and delivered to you within 2-3 days. On occasion, the time frames may vary, however this will be made clear on selected items.

Ireland & The Channel Islands:
All orders are eligible for our standard delivery option, which has a fixed fee of £7.95. Orders to the Channel Islands can be delivered via express delivery (£9.50) in 2 days or within 3-4 days using our standard delivery. Orders to the Republic of Ireland will be delivered within 7-10 days.
Sadly, we are unable to offer next day delivery to Ireland or the Channel Islands.
