O’Neill
What does adrenaline look like? It’s the tip of a mountain; the bottom of the ocean; a deserted skate park…it’s O’Neill adventure wear for less.
Beginning life as – what else? – a Surf Shop in 1952, Jack O’Neill originally sold surfboards, accessories like paraffin wax and neoprene vests he glued together himself. When the latter sold, he went into the wetsuit business.
This Surf Shop was more than a place of buy and sell; it was a place in which local surfers came to hang out. It was also the home of “shorty”, “long john” and “long-sleeved beaver-tail” wetsuits, which allowed surfers to push the envelope in colder water.
Northern California’s best could now surf year-round. Thanks to its popularity and technical advancements, O’Neill soon expanded around North America and Canada. It wasn’t long before this surf brand was sponsoring major competitions worldwide.
By 1980, this surf shop had gone international, a leader in beach lifestyle sportswear in the U.S.A, Japan and Europe. Jack continues to surf and sail, as well as campaign to save the great white shark from extinction and educate children on microbiology aboard the Team O’Neill catamaran.
Still a specialist in wetsuits, this adventure brand now caters to adventurers of all kinds: divers, water-skiers, snow-skiers and windsurfers. Whether you’re one of these or a style-savvy beach bum, BrandAlley has an O’Neill Sale with a bikini, tee, or snow trouser for you.
